Honing steel Victorinox 7.8333
Round honing steel with a 27 cm long honing part. The plastic handle comes equipped with a loop for easy hanging.
Honing steels can restore a bent edge and gently smooth it. They do not remove any material from the blade. Ideally, use them for knives with a hardness below 60 HRC. They are practically useless for blunt knives. You can use the honing steel on a regular basis - ideally after each use of the kitchen knife.
Round honing rods are very popular thanks to their optimal size of the sharpening surface and lightweight, making them easy to handle.
