Knives 420 steel
Knives with 420 steel. 420 steel is considered the low range among knife steels. Blades made of this steel have very good corrosion resistance. Edge holding ability is low, meaning the knives need to be sharpened quite often. 420 stainless steel has low carbon content (<0.38%).
Steel composition: 0,15 - 0,38% Carbon, 13% Chromium, 1% Manganese, 1% Silicon, 0,6% Nickel, 0,09% Copper, 0,04% Phosphorus, 0,03% Sulfur
