A. If you make a purchase

If you buy from us, we will work with the data you fill in. These are mainly billing and delivery information: name, surname, address, e-mail address, telephone number.

Purpose of personal data processing
We need to process personal data in order to fulfill our Purchase agreement – to deliver your order. We will also communicate with you via contact information regarding the status of your order, or regarding complaints or your questions. We will further process personal data in order to fulfill our law obligations (mainly for accounting and tax purposes, or for handling complaints and others).

Duration of processing
In case of accounting documents issued by us (e.g. invoice or credit note), we are obliged to keep information about you for at least ten years.

B. If you register at kniland.com

If you would like to use the benefits of our customer account, you must first register on our website. Your customer account is secured by a password of your choice. We do not have access to this password. We will work with the data you fill in. These are mainly billing and delivery information: name, surname, address, e-mail address, telephone number. Also we keep data about your purchases (product, volumes).

We process your personal data for the purpose of maintaining your customer account and to calculate loyalty discounts.

C. Newsletters

If you have purchased from us, we may use your e-mail address to send our newsletter. Each newsletter contains a link, which you can easily use to unsubscribe from the newsletter.

D. If you set product availability alerts

In case of your desired product is not in stock, we offer you the option of setting up availability alert. When the product is re-stocked, we will inform you by a message sent to the email address you provided, which we will process for this reason.

 

Duration of processing your personal data ensues from the purpose of processing or is determined by legal regulations of personal data protection.

II. Who can access the data?

Your  data will remain with us. Nevertheless, some companies that work for us, access the data because they help us run our business. They are:

  • e-shop platform operator,
  • carriers - for the purpose of delivering the products or services you have ordered and resolving complaints,
  • companies involved in the dispatch of payments -  for the purpose of processing payments based on your order,
  • partners who distribute commercial communications - who are bound by a duty of confidentiality and may not use your personal data for any other purpose,
  • an accounting company - for the purpose of the processing of tax documents

We only process personal data in the European Union.

In certain situations you can ask the deletion of personal data and in certain cases you have the right to their transferability. Objection based on legitimate interest may be objected to.
