Böker 1969 Z28-Damast folding knife – Limited Edition

Damascus folding knife Böker 1969 Z28-Damast was inspired by the Chevrolet Camaro - legendary car from 1966. During this era, American car industry was on the rise, many ordinary cars were created, but also many exclusive pieces. Connoisseurs consider Camaro Z28 to be one of the best of all. The massive engine, performance and Special Performance Package put the Camaro Z28 in the exclusive league of muscle cars.

Pocket knife Böker 1969 Z28-Damast brings this legend back to life and the result is more than just a knife. In collaboration with the Italian designer Tommaso Rumici, a unique model was created that combines the distinct character traits of the Camaro Z28 model.

Elegant 80 layers Damascus blade, hand-forged by Chad Nichols, resembles a sloping cowl induction bonnet of the muscle car with its 'Tread' pattern. The knife opens very easily with a thumb stud, while the liner lock ensures the safe use. Based on the color analysis of the original model, a fine lacquer in the shade "Le Mans Blue" was created especially for Böker, which covers the entire aluminum handle and nostalgically interprets the contours of the popular vehicle.

The vehicle was characterized by notchback, the small rear spoiler and the gill-like air intakes on the rear wings that have been beautifully integrated into the knife. Even the blade screws themselves are inspired by rims, often used on muscle cars. Stainless steel clip is reminiscent of chrome door handles. Handmade in the Böker Manufactory in Solingen.
