MAM knives are manufactured in Portugal by family company with a history dating back to 1870. MAM uses German steel type AISI 420 from the manufacturer Thyssen Krupp. The hardness of the steel reaches 56-57 HRC. The handles are usually made of wood (beech, olive, bubinga), which is impregnated to withstand moisture as best as possible. MAM focuses on simple folding knives and kitchen knives.
