KAI Seki Magoroku Hekiju
Japanese KAI knives from the Seki Magoroku Hekiju series will be appreciated for their high durability and resistance. The knives of this series are typical Japanese shapes (Deba, Yanagiba) in combination with traditional single bevel blade.
The knives use the Japanese Ni-Mai type of construction, in which two different steels are laminated. The main harder layer, with which you will cut, is made of stainless steel (A8) and does not tend to break at all, as it has an optimal hardness of 58 HRC. Thanks to this, even people who have no experience with Japanese knives such as Deba and Yanagiba can try knives with single-sided grinding. The supporting layer, on the other hand, is made of softer metal (420 steel).
The knife handle is made of black plastic and will be great for chefs who do not want to waste time buying knives and camellia oils. But they are made only for left-handed people and are made entirely in Japan.
