KAI Seki Magoroku Kinju
Japanese KAI knives from the Seki Magoroku Kinju series will be appreciated for their high functionality and durability. The knives of this series have typical Japanese shapes (Deba, Yanagiba) in combination with a traditional single bevel blade.
The knives use the Japanese Ni-Mai type of construction, which involves layering two different steels. The main harder layer, with which you will cut, is made of stainless steel (AUS-8) and will not break at all, as it has an optimal hardness of 58 HRC. Thanks to this, even people who have no experience with Japanese knives such as Deba and Yanagiba can try single-sided grinding knives. The supporting layer, on the other hand, is made of softer metal (420 steel).
The hexagonal handle of the knife is made of composite pakka wood, to which high-quality resin is added to ensure long life and durability. The knives are designed exclusively for right-handed people and are made entirely in Japan.
