Tips to extend the life of your kitchen knives

Washing and cleaning knives

Washing in the dishwasher is the least laborious option for cleaning your knives, but in reality, it is the worst possible washing option for most types. Even in cases where the manufacturer states that the knives can be washed in the dishwasher, it is much more appropriate to choose hand washing, if only for the sake of the knife's lifespan.
