Scandi Grind Knives
This is the traditional type of grind found on Scandinavian knives. The blade retains its full thickness across most of its height, and the grind typically begins in the lower half to create the edge. The Scandinavian grind does not have a micro-bevel (or secondary bevel); it tapers evenly all the way to the edge itself. The best-known manufacturer that applies this type of edge is the Swedish producer Morakniv.
