Knives 1070 steel
Knives with 1070 Steel. 1070 steel belongs to the same group of simple, high-carbon steels from the 10XX series. The number 1070 indicates that it contains approximately 0.70% carbon. This steel is often considered a great compromise between toughness and edge retention. It has more carbon than 1055 and 1066 steels, but still a low enough proportion to be extremely resistant to cracking and easy to sharpen.
