Knives 15N20 Steel
Knives with 15N20 Steel. 15N20 carbon steel, also known as Uddeholm 15N20, is a popular steel often used in the manufacture of Damascus knives. The key element is nickel (Ni), with a content of 1.5%–2%, which improves the steel's toughness and remains bright when acid-etched during the Damascus steel-making process.
Steel composition: 0.75% carbon, 2% nickel, 0.4% manganese, 0.3% silicon.
