BeaverCraft AX6 Forged Bearded Axe

Bushcraft axe with a long beard. The Beavercraft AX6 is designed for maximum utility in the outdoors, whether you're camping, bushcrafting, or just spending time in the woods. It easily fits in a backpack – measuring only 29,5 cm and weighing just 730 g, it won't weigh you down on longer trips. Despite its compact size, this is a fully capable axe you can rely on.

The axe head is hand-forged from 65G (1066) carbon steel. This spring steel is easy to sharpen and achieves a keen edge. One of the greatest strengths of this steel is its resilience – as a spring steel, it can withstand significant twisting and bending without deforming. The forging process further enhances the steel's structure and properties. Forged steel is more durable and stronger, giving the axe excellent performance and a virtually unlimited lifespan under normal use.

The head weighs 530 g. The axe features a very sharp convex grind from the factory and is ready for immediate use. As it is carbon steel, regular maintenance is recommended to prevent corrosion. The axe weighs 690 g, and the total weight (with the sheath) is 730 g.

The ash wood handle is substantial, ensuring a firm and stable grip. The handle is impregnated with linseed oil and wax. The axe comes with a leather blade protector and belt loop, crafted from genuine leather.
