Hobby Kit BeaverCraft Dala Horse

This kit includes everything you need to carve your own Dala horse: the C14 whittling knife, a pre-cut Dala horse blank made of basswood, a pencil, a brush, paints, 2 pieces of P150 sandpaper, a leather strop with polishing compound, and protective tape to prevent cuts. This starter kit is suitable for children aged 12 and up, teenagers, as well as adults. Each DIY kit also includes an online link to a video tutorial that guides you step-by-step through the entire carving process. The kit is designed for beginners in wood carving.

BeaverCraft knives are extremely sharp (adult supervision is recommended for younger users; children should be 12+). The blades deliver clean cuts without splintering the wood. Made from high-carbon 65G steel, the blades are hardened to 57–59 HRC. Carbon steel holds an edge well and is easy to sharpen, but it is more prone to rust— we reccomend to clean and dry the knife after use and apply oil to the blade occasionally.
