BeaverCraft DIY06 Beginner Wood Carving Kit – Santa
A beginner wood carving kit that offers fun for children, adults, and the entire family. This starter kit includes the BeaverCraft C16 roughing knife, sharpening tools - polishing compound and leather strop, instructions for carving a Santa figure, two pieces of basswood for carving, a brush, and paint for decorating the finished figure.
This kit is a great gift idea that can start a new hobby. To assist you in creating the figure, you can use the included manual or a step-by-step video tutorial (available in English). The carving guide provided in the kit includes a QR code on the last page that links to the BeaverCraft YouTube channel, where you can watch the complete instructional video for carving the Santa figure.
BeaverCraft knives are extremely sharp (adult supervision is recommended for younger users; children should be 12+). The blades deliver clean cuts without splintering the wood. Made from high-carbon 65G steel, the blades are hardened to 57–59 HRC. Carbon steel holds an edge well and is easy to sharpen, but it is more prone to rust— we reccomend to clean and dry the knife after use and apply oil to the blade occasionally.
