BeaverCraft S01X Carving Set

This carving set includes the C4X Whittling Sloyd knife and the SK5 spoon carving knife. Also included are a leather case, stropping leather, and polishing compound. Both tools have chocolate-colored walnut handles and blades made from high-quality 65G carbon steel, hardened to 57-59 HRC, suitable for working with both soft and hard woods. The C4X Whittling Sloyd knife has a blade with enhanced cutting capabilities due to its increased carbon content, and its mirror finish gives the entire knife a luxurious, elegant look. The SK5 carving knife, also known as a spoon carving knife, is designed for creating spoons, kuksa cups, bowls, and many other items that require carving a rounded interior.

Maintenance: carbon steel holds an edge well and is easy to sharpen, but it is more prone to rusting (the knife should be thoroughly cleaned and dried after use, and we also recommend to occasionally apply the oil, to prevent corrosion of the blade).
