Victorinox knives
Victorinox knives are the most prominent brand among Swiss Army Knives. They are a true legend in the cutlery industry, with a company history dating back to 1884. The first patented Swiss Army Knife was the Original Swiss Officer's and Sports Knife in 1897. Today, Victorinox manufactures Swiss knives in various sizes.
Victorinox Swiss knives are made from stainless steel hardened to 56 HRC. Specialized tools have different hardness ratings: the wood saws, scissors, and nail files are hardened to 53 HRC; screwdrivers, can openers, and awls are at 52 HRC; and the corkscrews are 49 HRC.
