Dick 1905
The premium kitchen knives from the 1905 series are a celebration and reminder of a long-forgotten, revolutionary knife design from knife manufacturer F. Dick. In 1905, he brought a design to the market that, unlike others, did not use the classic 3-rivet connection between the blade and the handle, but so-called solid collars, with gaps filled with rings of durable plastic. The design was revived only in 2010, since it had first fallen into oblivion. The construction of a knife in this style brings a change in the balance of the knife, when weight is added to the handle, which causes better control but reduces the force when cutting.
