Knives AR-RPM9 steel
Knives with AR-RPM9 steel. AR-RPM9 is a stainless steel developed by the knife manufacturer Artisan Cutlery and CJRB and it is produced by the powder metallurgy method. The main advantages of this steel are good edge retention and wear resistance, easy sharpening and high corrosion resistance. Due to its properties, this steel is comparable to steels such as Sandvik 14C28N and D2.
Steel composition: 0.9% carbon, 18% chromium, 1% molybdenum, 0.45% manganese, 0.3% cobalt, 0.2 - 0.8% silicon, 0.1% vanadium,> 0.4% nickel,> 0.05% trace elements (sulfur, phosphorus)
