Knives with CPM 3V Steel. CPM 3V steel is one of the most highly regarded tool steels on the market, manufactured using the Crucible Particle Metallurgy (CPM) technology by Crucible. This steel is extremely tough and can continue to perform where most other steels would already crack. It is therefore ideal for large knives, machetes, and choppers, as well as bushcraft, survival, and tactical knives.
