Micarta
Micarta® is a strong and durable composite material. It is produced by dipping several layers of fibers (paper, or fabric - most often linen or cotton) in thermosetting resin and subsequent processing under high pressure and temperature. The properties of the Micarta are very similar to those of the G10. It is a very strong, hard and light material, pleasant to the touch. At the same time, it gives the knife a slightly more elegant look than other synthetic materials.
