Product detailed description

Cold Steel Lynn Thompson Signature Kobun Collector's Knife

A relatively light knife with a fixed blade, made in collaboration with Lynn Thompson, a renowned expert in the knife industry, whose expertise and passion for blades can be seen in every single detail of the knife. The Cold Steel Kobun collector's item boasts a premium 12,7cm S35VN stainless steel blade that is exceptionally sharp and corrosion resistant.

Rugged, ergonomic Kray-Ex handle that provides a secure and comfortable grip even in adverse conditions, as its textured surface ensures a no-slip hold for precise control when wet. Kobun is compact enough to carry with you on every day basis, yet robust enough to handle demanding outdoor tasks with complete ease.

The name of the knife comes from the Japanese underworld, where the word "Kobun" is sometimes used as the rank of "soldier". It's a great name for a knife like the Kobun, which was truly designed as a "good soldier". Over time, the Kobun became popular with the military and law enforcement, where it is valued for its light weight and slim profile, as well as its durability.

Limited to 3000 units worldwide, each knife is engraved with Lynn's signature and a unique serial number. Each box is signed by Lynn!
